In the new structure of higher education, resulting from Bologna Process, master program studies aim to:

  • train highly qualified personnel for the activities of design and research;

  • ensure that some of the graduates can continue to improve through the doctorate program .

In this context, the Department of Mechanics in the University "Politehnica" of Bucharest organizes two master programs:

accredited by ARACIS (http://www.aracis.ro/uploads/media/Validare_rapoarte_21.07.2011.pdf, positions 144, respectively).

In order to achieve their objectives, education plans of the master programs contain a number of disciplines absent or inadequately treated during license study programs.

The disciplines cover a wide range of areas that contribute to the training of good specialists.

The course lecturers, members of the Department of Mechanics, are academics with high degree of competence, PhD holders in the respective fields.
